Happy Easter to the Chipoza Community in Malawi

Happy Easter to all friends.

Happy Easter also to the Chipoza Community in Malawi, where we recently broke ground for their much needed new school.

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the Karl-Zünd-Foundation in Switzerland for their generous financial contribution which, along with donations from our dedicated members and friends, made this school project possible.

Pictured is the groundbreaking ceremony and the important "signing of the covenant" where community members pledge their support, often by fingerprint.

By volunteering much of the construction work and providing low-cost materials such as sand and gravel, the community is fully committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of gender, receives an education.

Construction is underway and we anticipate completion by June.
