Costs & Sponsor: The US$34,000 for this school was funded by BK2S members and friends.

Children: 100 – 150, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Teachers: 2 teachers, employed by the Malawi public education board.

School building: Reinforced concrete, 140m2, two classrooms

Construction: Managed by buildOn, the Chimbiranjala community contributed 4,450 days of volunteer work. A donor team was in Kawata to meet the teachers, parents and children and to help with the construction work for a few days (at their own expense).
