Costs & Sponsor: The US$34,000 for this school was funded by GE Volunteers (Switzerland).

Children: 100 – 150, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Teachers: 2 teachers, employed by the Malawi public education board.

School building: Reinforced concrete, 140m2, two classrooms

Construction: Managed by buildOn, the Kasumbi community contributed 2,346 days of volunteer work. Funded during 2022, the school was completed and children were in class in July 2023.
